As we all know hip hop great Jay-Z is part owner of The New Jersey Nets. This past weekend Jay-Z attended Kentucky's Elite 8 game in the NCAA tournament and afterwards was photographed and videotaped congratulating Kentuck players in the locker room. Kentucky has two players in Brandon Knight and Terrance Jones who are big NBA prospects and projected lottery picks so this does not sit well with the NBA that Jay-Z being a part owner is interacting with these players before they have ended their collegiate careers and put their name into the draft. The NBA will investigate this incident although it does not seem like a penalty will be put in place.... Its pretty cool when Hip Hop and sport collide.
